10 pieces thick cut bacon ¼ cup brown sugar ½ teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper 2 Tablespoon maple syrup
Set the oven rack on the middle shelf. The oven should be preheated to 350 degrees.
In a bowl, mix cayenne pepper, cayenne pepper, and brown sugar. Place aside.
On a 13 by 9-inch baking sheet, spread foil. Add the bacon in one layer.
The brown sugar mixture should be applied to the bacon bits on both sides.
Cook for 20 minutes on the center rack of a preheated oven before turning the dish over and cooking for another 15 to 20 minutes.
Bacon should be taken out of the oven and dried on a cooling rack.
