Ingredients

  • 10 pieces thick cut bacon
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 Tablespoon maple syrup

Instructions

  • Set the oven rack on the middle shelf. The oven should be preheated to 350 degrees.
  • In a bowl, mix cayenne pepper, cayenne pepper, and brown sugar. Place aside.
  • On a 13 by 9-inch baking sheet, spread foil. Add the bacon in one layer.
  • The brown sugar mixture should be applied to the bacon bits on both sides.
  • Cook for 20 minutes on the center rack of a preheated oven before turning the dish over and cooking for another 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Bacon should be taken out of the oven and dried on a cooling rack.
  • Cover bacon with maple syrup
