Ingredients

Salad:

  • 2 bunches broccoli florets
  • 8 strips bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup cheese shredded
  • ½ cup cranberries dried
  • ¼ cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 medium red onion diced

Dressing:

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar white vinegar or apple cider vinegar will also work as a substitutes

Instructions

  • Break or cut the broccoli florets from your bunches into bite-sized pieces. Added to a colander and thoroughly rinsed. Place aside and let dry. Your red onion should be peeled and diced.
  • If you're using raw bacon, make sure to cook it completely before letting the grease drain. Slice into tiny pieces.
  • Broccoli florets, cooked and crumbled bacon, shredded cheese, dried cranberries, sunflower seeds, and your diced red onion should all be combined in a mixing bowl.
  • Make your dressing by combining mayonnaise, sugar, and vinegar in a small mixing bowl. Stir everything together.
  • Then, add your dressing mixture to the broccoli mixture and stir until the dressing is evenly distributed throughout. Cover the bowl and refrigerate. When you're ready to serve, chill the dish until it's cold.
