Mojitos have been around for over 100 years, according to Wikipedia. They’re made from rum, sugar syrup, lime juice, and fresh mint leaves (or other herbs).

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces rum
  • 1/2 lime juiced
  • 5 mint leaves
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 4 ounces mango nectar
  • Club soda

Instructions

  • Rum, lime juice, mint leaves, and sugar should be combined in a cocktail glass.
  • As the sugar begins to dissolve and the mint leaves become crushed, muddle the mixture together.
  • After adding ice and mango nectar to the glass, fill it with club soda and mix to blend.
  • If preferred, garnish with a lime slice and a mint sprig.
