- 2 tbsp jaggery
- 1 tsp turmeric
pulihora spice mix:
- 2 tbsp sesame
- 1 tbsp coriander seeds
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp mustard
- ¼ tsp methi
for tempering:
- ¾ cup oil
- 1 cup peanut
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 2 tbsp urad dal
- 2 tbsp chana dal
- 1 tsp hing
- 5 dried red chilli
- few curry leaves
firstly, soak 250 grams of tamarind in 2 cup of hot water for 30 minutes.Squeeze the pulp of tamarind and filter it out.
