- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups fresh strawberries chopped or mashed
- 2 boxes waffle mix
Preheat the waffle maker.
Cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla should be combined with an electric mixer until smooth.
Mix in half of the chopped strawberries until well combined.
In a separate bowl, prepare the waffle mix according to the package directions.
Pour in enough waffle batter to fill the slots in the bottom of the waffle iron, about 1/3 to 1/2 cup.
To the center of the waffle batter, add about 3 Tablespoons of the strawberry and cream cheese mixture, along with a few chopped strawberries.
Cover the cream cheese with enough waffle batter to cover.
Close the waffle maker, grab the handles, and turn it over.
Cook for 10 to 12 minutes at a time.
To transfer the waffle to a plate, use the waffle tongs that came with the waffle maker.
Repeat with the remaining batter.
