Ingredients

  • 40 oz. sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs whisked
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Instructions

  • Warm up the oven. turn the oven on to 350 degrees.
  • Combine the ingredients for the dish. Sweet potatoes should be drained before adding milk, eggs, sugar, butter, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla, and salt to a large bowl. Pour into a 9-by-9-inch oven-safe dish or pan and reserve.
  • Mix the topping ingredients together. Mix the butter, pecans, and sugar in a small bowl until well combined. Add the pecan mixture on top of the casserole.
  • until firm, bake for 45 minutes. Observe for ten minutes. Serve warm.
