Ingredients

  • 1 ounce Serrano peppers fresh coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 cup Cilantro fresh
  • 1 Cup Onion peeled and chopped
  • 1/3 Cup Lime Juice fresh
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic salt
  • 1 1/2 pounds Roma tomatoes cores removed, coarsely chopped

Instructions

  • Vegetables should be thoroughly washed.
  • Serrano pepper should be stemmed and coarsely chopped.
  • Peel and chop the onion coarsely.
  • Lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • Tomatoes, cored and coarsely chopped
  • In a food processor or blender, combine the Serrano, cilantro, onion, lime juice, salt, and garlic salt and pulse for five seconds on low.
  • Add the tomatoes and pulse on low until the desired consistency is reached. 1 quart (Chuys is quite chunky).
  • Enjoy it with tortilla chips!
