- 4 cups wheat flour
- 2 cup methi leaves
- 0.5 cup curd
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 2 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp kashmiri red chili powder
- 0.5 tsp cumin powder
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp carom seeds
- 4 tsp oil
- water
- 10 tsp oil
First, combine wheat flour with finely chopped methi leaves in a large mixing dish.
add 14 cup of curd as well. Methi leaves' bitterness is reduced by curd.
add salt and spices to taste as well.
Moreover, add 2 teaspoons of oil and thoroughly blend.
additionally, knead the dough after adding little water.
Place a damp cloth over the area and rest for 30 minutes.
Now roll and flatten a medium-sized dough ball.
sprinkle with some wheat flour as well.
Using a rolling pin, roll to 5 inches.
Moreover, roll it into a ball and flatten with ghee or oil.
further roll it into a thick paratha-style circle.
Now place the rolled paratha on a hot tawa and cook for a minute.
Flip the methi paratha once the base is partially done.
Additionally, apply oil or ghee and lightly press.
Serve the methi paratha with raita and pickles to complete the meal.
