Ingredients

  • 4 cups wheat flour
  • 2 cup methi leaves
  • 0.5 cup curd
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 2 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp kashmiri red chili powder
  • 0.5 tsp cumin powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp carom seeds
  • 4 tsp oil
  • water
  • 10 tsp oil

Instructions

  • First, combine wheat flour with finely chopped methi leaves in a large mixing dish.
  • add 14 cup of curd as well. Methi leaves' bitterness is reduced by curd.
  • add salt and spices to taste as well.
  • Moreover, add 2 teaspoons of oil and thoroughly blend.
  • additionally, knead the dough after adding little water.
  • Place a damp cloth over the area and rest for 30 minutes.
  • Now roll and flatten a medium-sized dough ball.
  • sprinkle with some wheat flour as well.
  • Using a rolling pin, roll to 5 inches.
  • Moreover, roll it into a ball and flatten with ghee or oil.
  • further roll it into a thick paratha-style circle.
  • Now place the rolled paratha on a hot tawa and cook for a minute.
  • Flip the methi paratha once the base is partially done.
  • Additionally, apply oil or ghee and lightly press.
  • Serve the methi paratha with raita and pickles to complete the meal.
