Slice up fresh mango pulp into chunks to make mango puree. Without adding any water, blend it into a smooth puree with the sugar. Or you may use mango puree from a can.
Use a hand mixer to whip the cream until soft peaks form. For this, a stand mixer is also an option.
Mango puree is added to the whipped cream. Using the spatula or hand blender, whisk for one to two minutes, or until thoroughly incorporated. Test it, and if additional sugar is needed, add it.
Place the ice cream in a lidded container that can be frozen. Freeze for five to six hours, or until solid.
