Combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a mixing bowl. Whisk everything together, then make a well in the center of the dry ingredients.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, and melted butter.
Gently fold in the wet mixture until just combined, leaving a few lumps behind.
Allow 5 minutes for the batter to rest. Meanwhile, close your air fryer basket and preheat it to 360 degrees F with a 6-inch cake pan.
Spray the cake pan liberally with cooking spray before placing it in the air fryer. Drop a 12 cup of batter into the cake pan with an ice cream scoop and gently spread batter to the pan's edges with a rubber spatula.
No need to flip! Air fry for 6 to 8 minutes, or until pancakes are golden brown on top. Continue with the remaining batter, keeping the cooked pancakes on a baking sheet in a 200°F oven until ready to serve.
