Fried Cheese Babybel

- 8 Babybel
- 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 eggs
In a shallow plate, mix together the breadcrumbs and Italian seasoning.
Whisk the eggs in a different shallow basin.
In a deep-sided skillet or saucepan, heat at least 1" of oil to 350°F.
The cheese rounds should be stripped of their wax covering before being dipped into the eggs.
Dip them into the breadcrumbs until covered on all sides.
Repeat the process again, dipping the coated cheese into the egg, then back into the breadcrumbs for a second coating.
Place in the hot oil in a single layer, being careful not to crowd the pan.
Fry on each side for 2 to 3 minutes until golden brown.
Before serving, remove from the oil and pat dry with paper towels.
