Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 ⅓ cups sugar
  • cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon espresso powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup flour
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Set the oven to 350°F. Cooking spray should be used to cover the foil in a pan.
  • In a sizable basin, mix the melted butter, oil, sugar, and cocoa powder. until smooth, stir.
  • Add the salt, espresso powder, vanilla, and eggs.
  • Add the flour gradually; the dough should be thick; then, gently fold the chocolate chips in.
  • If desired, add more chocolate chips on top after spreading the mixture into the prepared pan.
  • Bake for 21 to 25 minutes, or until they are glossy around the edges and a toothpick inserted one inch from the edge comes out clean.
  • Afterward, cut after cooling.
