- ½ cup butter
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 ⅓ cups sugar
- ⅔ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon espresso powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup flour
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Set the oven to 350°F. Cooking spray should be used to cover the foil in a pan.
In a sizable basin, mix the melted butter, oil, sugar, and cocoa powder. until smooth, stir.
Add the salt, espresso powder, vanilla, and eggs.
Add the flour gradually; the dough should be thick; then, gently fold the chocolate chips in.
If desired, add more chocolate chips on top after spreading the mixture into the prepared pan.
Bake for 21 to 25 minutes, or until they are glossy around the edges and a toothpick inserted one inch from the edge comes out clean.
Afterward, cut after cooling.
