Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound gemelli pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1-2 cloves garlic sliced thinly
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes sliced in half
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 5-6 leaves basil torn

Instructions

  • Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Return to the pot after draining. Place aside.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet.
  • Sauté the garlic and tomatoes for about 4 minutes.
  • Pour the skillet contents into the pasta and toss well.
  • Add the parmesan cheese and top with the fresh basil.
