- 1/2 pound gemelli pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1-2 cloves garlic sliced thinly
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes sliced in half
- 1 cup parmesan cheese freshly grated
- 5-6 leaves basil torn
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Return to the pot after draining. Place aside.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet.
Sauté the garlic and tomatoes for about 4 minutes.
Pour the skillet contents into the pasta and toss well.
Add the parmesan cheese and top with the fresh basil.
