These Air Fryer Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings include a butter foundation that makes the ideal amount of sauce to complement the tangy flavor of the lemon pepper spice.It's almost impossible to just eat one.
1poundchicken wingstrimmed, separated, and wing tips discarded
1tbspolive oil
2tbsplemon pepper
1teaspoonkosher salt
2tbspunsalted buttermelted
1tbspHoney mustard
Instructions
For 15 minutes, heat the air fryer's basket to 425 °F. Dry off the chicken wings. In a medium bowl, combine the wings, olive oil, 1 teaspoon of lemon pepper and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Place the wings in the air fryer basket and cook for 8 minutes in a single layer. After 8 minutes, flip the wings over and continue cooking until they are almost done.
Toss the wings with the melted butter, remaining 1 teaspoon of lemon pepperand 1/2 teaspoon of salt after removing them from the air fryer. Return the wings to the air fryer basket and cook for 3 to 5 minutesor until they are a deep golden brown and crispy. If preferred, serve with honey mustard dipping sauce.
