Carabas Blackberry Sangria Recipe
Blackberry sangria is a great way to use up your leftover blackberries or other berries that you don’t need for cooking.

- 1/4 cup simple syrup
- 1 cup cranberry juice
- 1/3 cup brandy
- 1 bottle Spanish red wine
- 1 lemon sliced
- 1 orange sliced
- 1 cup blackberries
- 1/2 tsp vanilla flavoring
Crush one cup of blackberries in a bowl. The soft pits should be taken out of the bowl and either eaten or composted.
In the pitcher, add the lemon and orange slices as well as the whole and smashed blackberries.
Add the brandy, cranberry juice, and simple syrup.
Pour the entire bottle of red wine in.
With the vanilla flavour, combine. It will also work just fine using vanilla extract.
2 hours of refrigeration are required.
Serve chilled.
