Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup simple syrup
  • 1 cup cranberry juice
  • 1/3 cup brandy
  • 1 bottle Spanish red wine
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 1 orange sliced
  • 1 cup blackberries
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla flavoring

Instructions

  • Crush one cup of blackberries in a bowl. The soft pits should be taken out of the bowl and either eaten or composted.
  • In the pitcher, add the lemon and orange slices as well as the whole and smashed blackberries.
  • Add the brandy, cranberry juice, and simple syrup.
  • Pour the entire bottle of red wine in.
  • With the vanilla flavour, combine. It will also work just fine using vanilla extract.
  • 2 hours of refrigeration are required.
  • Serve chilled.
