1 tablespoon sugar (white / brown / coconut sugar)
2 teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
1 egg, large
¾ cup milk (whole or skim)
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled to lukewarm

Instructions
In accordance with the manufacturer's directions, preheat your waffle maker. In a small bowl, combine all the dry ingredients.
The flour mixture should only be blended after being stirred into the bigger bowl containing the wet components (DO NOT OVER MIX). Start with 34 cup milk and add a bit more, if necessary, to make the batter thick yet pourable.
Waffle iron should be greased before use. Use around 14 cup batter per waffle. Cook as directed by the manufacturer. (Each waffle takes 5 to 6 minutes).
