Air Fryer Salt and Vinegar Wings
The secret ingredient here is the use of baking powder which creates a chemical reaction when combined with the other ingredients.

- 1/3 cup of apple cider vinegar
- 1 Ib Chicken Wings
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon of sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon of salt
- 1/3 teaspoon of lemon juice
- Dash of Worcestershire sauce
- Dash of Tabasco Sauce
- Sugar
- Pepper
- Salt
- Red Pepper Flakes
- Cooking Spray
- 20 g Baking Flour
- 10 tbsp water
- 1½ tbsp garlic power
- 1 tbsp onion power
- ⅔ tbsp paprika
- 2 eggs
Combine 2 tablespoons of baking powder and 1/4 cup of water in a medium bowl.
Add 3 cups of flour to the mixture until fully mixed.
In another bowl mix together 1 tablespoon each of paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and cayenne pepper.
Mix all of the dry seasoning into the wet batter.
After mixing thoroughly add one egg white and stir again.
With your hands break up any remaining lumps in the batter and pour it evenly over both sides of the chicken drumsticks.
Cut off the wing tips from the chicken and discard (or save for making stock).
Place half of the cut-off chicken pieces into the air fry basket and press down firmly so they adhere to the bottom of the pan.
Pour enough oil into the air fryer pot to cover the top by about 1 inch.
Close the lid and cook at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove the cooked wings from the air fryer and place them back onto paper towels to drain excess oil.
Whisk all of the ingredients together well to combine.
Once the wings have been removed from the air fryer pour the prepared sauce evenly over the top of the wings.
Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
