Braunschweiger is a liverwurst-based wurst. Even if I don't have the same enthusiasm as my father, I do enjoy some Braunschweiger sandwiches!

Ingredients

  • Braunschweiger Scott Pete
  • 2 slices pumpernickel or other dark rye bread
  • 1-2 slices cheese Swiss
  • 1/4 red onion sliced
  • 3 pickles dill
  • mustard spicy brown
  • mayonnaise
  • horseradish

Instructions

  • Pumpernickel bread is toasted, and all components are sliced.
  • One slice of bread should be spread with as much horseradish, mayo, and mustard as you like.
  • Construct your sandwich. Enjoy!
