These little smokies are cocktail sausages that have been slow-cooked in a savory and sweet barbecue sauce. An incredibly simple slow cooker appetizer that comes together in a matter of minutes and is usually a hit.

Ingredients

  • 2 packages little smokies 12-14 ounce size
  • 1/2 cups barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • Put the tiny smokies in a slow cooker.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, onion powder, and garlic powder. Blend thoroughly by whisking.
  • Over the small smokies, pour the sauce. Serve after 2-3 hours of cooking over low heat with a cover.
