Cacao Nib Cookies
While they are not a replacement for the chocolate chip cookie, cacao nib cookies are a nice change and will be treasured by chocolate lovers.

- 2 cups flour all-purpose
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup butter unsalted; melted
- 1 cup brown sugar packed
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg large
- 2 cups cacao nibs to taste; or more
Oven: 325 degrees Fahrenheit (165 C). Cookie pans should be greased or lined with parchment paper.
Salt, baking soda, and flour should be sifted together and set away.
Melted butter, brown sugar, and white sugar should be thoroughly combined in a medium dish.
Vanilla, egg, and egg yoke are added and are thoroughly mixed in.
Add the sifted components and stir just until combined.
Using a wooden spoon and your hands, incorporate the cocoa nibs.
1/4 cup at a time, drop cookie dough onto the cookie sheets that have been prepped. About 3 inches should separate each cookie.
Bake in a hot oven for 15 to 17 minutes.
After a brief period of cooling on the baking pans, move the baked goods to wire cooling racks to finish cooling.
