Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 lemon juiced
  • 8 oz red currants
  • 1 orange
  • 8 oz milk
  • 5 oz yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Ice cubes as desired
  • 4 red currants for garnish
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Wash the red currants and remove the stems. Set aside 4 of the prettiest ones for garnish.
  • Cut the blood orange in half and squeeze the juice into a blender.
  • Add the banana, lemon juice, red currants, milk, yogurt, honey, and sugar to the blender.
  • Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • Add ice cubes to the blender and pulse until the desired consistency is reached.
  • Pour the smoothie into glasses and garnish each with a red currant.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
