3 slices of sandwich bread – white, multi grain, whole wheat or brown bread
2 to 3 tablespoons Glee for toasting bread
½ cup sweetened condensed milk
1.5 cups milk
¾ teaspoon cardamom powder
1 pinch of saffron strands (kesar)
1 teaspoon rose water – optional
8 almonds (badam)
1 pinch of saffron strands (kesar)
Instructions
First, cut four triangles or rectangles out of three sandwich bread (big bread) pieces. The bread slices' side crusts can be cut off, if desired.
Now warm up two to three tablespoons of ghee in a pan or tawa. Place the slices of bread. Flip each one when the base turns golden.
Flip the toasted sandwich once the second side is golden. Bread can even be fried in shallow or deep oil. As an alternative, you might put ghee on the bread before toasting it.
Flip the bread a few times in this manner until it is equally crisp and brown. If extra ghee is needed, add it while you toast the bread.Slices of bread should be removed and placed on a dish.
