Ingredients

  • 500 g Ash gourd Winter melon; Before cleaning
  • 75 g Onion
  • 3 fruits Green chili
  • 1 fruit red chili Dried
  • Few leaves Curry
  • 100 ml milk Thick coconut
  • ¼ teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 150 ml Water

Instructions

  • Take an ash gourd, remove the skin, and remove the seed portion. Following the example in the picture below, rinse it and cut it into medium-sized pieces. Additionally, chop the dried red chilies, green chilies, and onion. Prepare the coconut milk as well as get some water. Add curry leaves, turmeric powder, salt, mustard seeds, and cooking oil to the preparation process.
  • Put the ash gourd in the skillet and heat it up. Add a green chile, a quarter of an onion, turmeric powder, salt, and water on top of it. Make a decent mixture.
  • Cook with the lid on over a high flame until the liquid completely evaporates. Remove the lid and give it a thorough stir after halfway. It takes me around ten minutes.
  • Add the coconut milk now and combine.
  • Cook for about three minutes with the lid on over a medium flame. Add more salt if necessary. When finished, turn off the flame and set it aside for finishing touches.
  • Mustard seeds are added to heated oil. Let them cough. The remaining onion, curry leaves, and dried red chilies should then be added.
  • Finally, add the curry made from the ash gourd, stir it gently, and then turn off the heat.
