Beyond Meat is used to make a hearty, meaty, plant-based meatball. You can have these meatballs on the table in under 30 minutes, whether pan-fried or baked.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef
  • 1 ½ tbsp bread crumb
  • ¾ tsp garlic chopped
  • 1 tbsp onion chopped
  • 1 tsp basil chopped
  • 2 tsp parsley chopped
  • 2 ½ tbsp parmesan cheese shredded, plant-based options available
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Pinch black pepper
  • Pinch kosher salt
  • 23 oz Prego Italian Sauce Fresh Mushroom

Instructions

  • Combine Beyond Beef, bread crumbs, parsley, basil, onion, garlic, Italian seasoning, and parmesan cheese in a large mixing bowl.
  • Mix thoroughly and roll into 1 oz golf-sized balls. Place aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil.
  • Cook until the meatballs are brown on all sides.
  • Remove the meatballs from the skillet once they have developed a nice crust.
  • Clean the skillet before returning it to the stovetop over medium heat.
  • Fill the skillet halfway with marinara.
  • Bring the sauce to a simmer before returning the meatballs to the skillet.
  • Cover the skillet and cook the meatballs for up to an hour. Enjoy! Serve with your favorite pasta.
